McKinneyTEAM Announces Endorsed Candidate List for May 1 Election


McKinney, Texas, March 23, 2021 -- McKinneyTEAM, a nonpartisan, nonprofit political action committee organized and operating under section 527 of the Internal Revenue Code, announced today it has endorsed a Mayoral and City Council candidates for the May 1, 2021 election. The candidates endorsed by McKinneyTEAM include the following individuals:

Mayor:             George Fuller
At-Large:         Charlie Philips
District 1:         Justin Beller
District 3:         Dr. Gere’ Feltus


“After providing candidates in all of the races the opportunity to interview with McKinneyTeam, and after careful consideration among our leadership, we are pleased to announce the endorsement of candidates that represent the core values of McKinneyTEAM,” said Pete Huff, McKinneyTEAM spokesman. “We believe this group of candidates brings the right balance of backgrounds, experience and passion for the city, as well as an alignment to our philosophical approach to the long-term growth and success of McKinney, while enhancing our resident’s experience,” he added.
